Do automatic functions work with this lens adapter? No, there is no electrical contact between your lens and camera body whilst using this adapter, so youâll need to manually set automatic aperture, AE metering, auto-focusing amp; image stabilisation. You can still manually focus to infinity.
What do I do if my camera wonât take a photo? Itâs easily fixed, go into your camera settings and ensure youâve turned on âshoot without lensâ.
What about using crop sensor lenses with full frame cameras? When adapting differing lenses and camera sensor sizes, there will be a crop factor.
1. Adapting a crop sensor lens to full frame camera, may create vignetting and create a black band above and below your image.
2. Adapting a full-frame lens to a crop sensor camera increases the perceived/equivalent focal length.
